I’m Michael D. Hickling — an FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot born in New Jersey and raised in South Florida.

I know this coastline the way only a local can: where the light hits the Intracoastal at golden hour, which streets feel most atmospheric from above, and how each neighborhood carries its own personality, rhythm, and sense of place.
So far, my work spans coastal shorelines, residential neighborhoods, skyline views, busy intersections, community fairs, restaurants, local landmarks, waterfront spaces, and urban environments — places full of life, color, movement, atmosphere, and stories worth capturing from above.
My top aerial video on TikTok has reached more than 377,000 views, and the account has generated over 88,000 likes organically through thoughtful shot planning, timing, and a genuine appreciation for the places I film.
